YMCA PRISHTINA

YMCA Prishtina is the first YMCA Kosovo branch and its main activities are festival events, media production and awareness campaigns, camps, martial arts and outdoor sports, climbing, skiing, speleology and orienteering among the most popular. Four Clubs are located in Prishtina: Y Media Club, Judo Club, Karate Club, and Scouting Club. YMCA Prishtina works closely with the Mountaineering Federation of Kosovo.

YMCA GJAKOVA

YMCA Gjakova branch emphasizes educational training, outdoor sports, camps and library project; however, the most successful ones are childcare and after school program. They cooperate very close with schools and Gjakova Youth Centre providing space for the activities.

YMCA MITROVICA

YMCA Kosovo is one of few organizations that approached Mitrovica right after the war to work on peace building and interethnic dialogue between the two communities. YMCA multiethnic team formed of volunteers has started programs and activities that bring both sides together: Blue Bridge Band (Serbian-Albanian music band), Leadership trainings, Sports, and Blue Bus project (funded by EAR).

Today YMCA Mitrovica is also working on social development of RAE (Roma, Ashkali, and Egyptians) community. Helped by Danish Refugee Council, YMCA developed Social Arts Program that aims social development of RAE Youth.

YMCA PEJA

YMCA Peja empowers kids and youth to become physically fit, productive and respected members of society and to grow IN BODY, MIND AND SPIRIT through soccer, athletics and basketball. The main activities are Sports, Cams, and IT education for children.
